Lately I haven't bought any prepackaged cookies...
...do you really know what's in them?
Half the stuff I read on the package I don't understand.
So, one of the many joys of making cookies from scratch is...
...you know what you put into your cookie dough!
(I like to use whole wheat pastry flour or brown rice flour instead of white flour,
real butter instead of margarine, and agave instead of white sugar .)
Another Joy of making your own cookies is
being able to make them
whatever size you want
in whatever shape you want.
My Favorite Joy of making cookies is
the happy faces that love to eat my yummy creations.
